Every route into Italy has one hard part.

Azerbaijani schooling runs eleven years; an Italian bachelor's degree requires twelve. On its own, the diploma does not qualify.

• A recognised foundation year, or a completed first year at a university at home
• A Declaration of Value from the Italian Embassy, or a CIMEA statement where the university accepts one
• Pre-enrolment on Universitaly before the visa application

We settle the foundation-year question before anything is paid for, then sequence the translations, the Declaration of Value and pre-enrolment so the file reaches the embassy complete.

The grant is awarded on the ISEE parificato: the family's income and property abroad, converted into the indicator Italy uses to measure need.

We build the document list household member by household member and file the grant alongside the university application, because the scholarship deadline usually closes before an offer arrives.

Admission depends on the English TOLC score. Test centres abroad are scarce, so most applicants sit it remotely as TOLC@CASA.

• A session booked early enough to count for the admission ranking
• A connection that meets the minimum upload and download speed, with no VPN
• The test taken from the country named at booking, in a room that passes the proctor's check

We choose the session against the university's calendar, rehearse the room, camera and connection the week before, and prepare the student for the question format rather than the subject alone.

English-taught medicine still admits by IMAT score. The 2025 reform that opened Italian-taught medicine does not apply, and non-EU places are a small quota at each university.

• IMAT registration on Universitaly, with universities ranked in order of preference
• A score that clears the non-EU ranking at a chosen university
• Pre-enrolment and the study visa once a place is assigned

We build the preference list around realistic scores rather than reputation, prepare the student to the IMAT format, and run registration and pre-enrolment so no deadline in the ranking cycle is missed.

When original transcripts cannot be obtained, the qualification can still be assessed from partial and digital records.

We gather every surviving record into one file and apply where fee exemptions or simplified admission for students from Ukraine are active. Measures and deadlines change by university and by year, so we confirm them before applying.

The codice fiscale is required before almost anything else: a lease, a phone contract, a bank account, a transport pass.

• A request through the Italian consulate before departure, or at the tax office after arrival
• A passport and a valid address in Italy
• The code in hand before the lease is signed

We obtain the codice fiscale before the flight, so the first week is spent settling in rather than queuing, and line up the lease and phone contract to start the day the student lands.

The residence permit must be requested within eight working days of arrival, through the post office, followed by a fingerprinting appointment at the police headquarters.

• The receipt kept as proof of legal stay until the permit is issued

We complete the kit with the student before arrival, book the post-office submission for the first days, and prepare the document set for the appointment at the Questura.
